Philadelphia is not only home to some of the greatest restaurants on the East Coast, but also boasts a very exciting and stylish nightlife scene. Almost every neighborhood in the city has bustling lounges, bars, and clubs that come to life after dusk and electrify the streets until 2:00 a.m. Here are some top spots to experience whether you're just stopping through or are a resident of our dynamic city.

Bleu Martini

Specializing in more than 30 different martinis, this upscale Old City nightclub attracts many customers with its neon electric blue sign. It combines both a night club spot and lounge experience and is the perfect place for entertaining friends or associates. Bottle service is available, creating a more intimate vibe for your party.

The Plough and the Stars

This two-story traditional Irish restaurant and bar is located in a renovated bank building. It caters to foodies by day and partiers by night! After dinner, the DJ sets up, creating the mood for Plough's dance club scene. This is a perfect place to go for a night on the town, whether you're 25 or 45. Plough and the Stars draws an expansive and friendly crowd and serves to satisfy your nightlife needs.

Cuba Libre

Does your ideal night on the town involve drinks and dancing? Then Cuba Libre is the place for you! Rated simply "excellent" by Zagat, disappointment is not an option at this Cuban hot spot. Partygoing patrons experience a Latin zest in the food, specialty drinks, and meringue and salsa moves that begin around 10:00 p.m. on the dance floor. For a delicious drink, be sure to try the Cuban Kiss - Spiced Rum, Crème de Cocoa White, and Bailey's Irish Cream, or a refreshing mojito.

Continental

This Old City restaurant is not only known for its eclectic and inventive cuisine, it is also a famous martini bar! Decorated like a modern 1950s diner, the Continental provides a fun and light-hearted atmosphere. Try their famous "Astronaut" cocktail-Peachka vodka and Tang, served in a Tang-rimmed martini glass.

Moriarity's Restaurant and Irish Pub

If you're looking for a more traditional pub scene to enjoy a couple pints, Moriarity's is an ideal location. Providing a comfortable, warm, and inviting atmosphere, this bar serves as a restaurant as well as a popular night time spot. This neighborhood establishment thrives with friendly customers and staff, and is extremely well-known for its Saturday Karaoke nights.

Pearl

Located in Rittenhouse Square, Pearl entertains its guests with a dynamic restaurant and lounge experience. Plush, oversized banquettes, mirrored pendant light fixtures, modern finishes, color changing LED lighting, and a state-of-the-art sound system create an intoxicating environment to enjoy drinks with friends, colleagues, or even a date. A rotating series of the best local and national DJ's such as DJ Am, DJ Vice, and DJ Enferno make Pearl the top nightlife destination in the region.
