Philadelphia’s best in Food, Music and Fashion Take Center Stage
Every spring, thousands of guests gather in the city’s most chic neighborhood for the annual Rittenhouse Row Festival. On May 21 from 12-5 p.m., rain or shine, visitors will be treated to fabulous food, drinks, music and plenty of family entertainment on Walnut Street from Broad Street to Rittenhouse Square (Between 18th and 19th Streets on Walnut).This year’s lineup includes cooking and cocktail demonstrations from the masters of Starr Restaurants (Alma De Cuba, Barclay Prime, Parc, El Rey, The Continental Mid-Town and The Dandelion) that will tap into your inner-foodie. The Rittenhouse Row Kids’ Corner features arts and crafts led by the Academy of Natural Sciences, Franklin Institute, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Walnut Street Theatre, Pennsylvania Ballet and the Arden Theatre Company. At the KYW Kidscasting Tent, kids can make their own mock-radio newscast with the crew from KYW 1060!
Rittenhouse Row’s famous boutiques and high-fashion shops will hit the runway with this season’s hottest finds on an outdoor catwalk. Wine and beer tastings, food from the neighborhood’s most popular spots and live music are waiting for you – so head to Rittenhouse Row and celebrate the best of the best this season!
