Directions to the Independence Visitor Center

From the east: Go over the Walt Whitman Bridge and follow sings to I-95 north. Take exit 22 (on left) for I-676 and follow the signs for Independence Hall onto Callowhill Street. Take Callowhill Street to Sixth Street. Turn left on Sixth Street and travel four blocks. *

From the west: Take I-76 east to exit 344 for I-676 east. Follow sign of Ben Franklin Bridge. Bear right onto Sixth Street and travel three blocks. *

From the north: Take I-95 south to exit 22 (Central Philadelphia/I-676) for Independence Hall onto Callowhill Street. Take Callowhill Street to Sixth Street and follow to Sixth Street. Turn left on Sixth Street and travel four blocks. *

From the south: Take I-95 north to exit 22 (Central Philadelphia/I-676) (on left) and follow the signs for Independence Hall onto Callowhill Street. Take Callowhill Street to Sixth Street. Turn left on Sixth Street and travel four blocks. *

*The Visitor Center is located on Sixth Street, between Arch and Market streets, on the left. Metered parking is available on 6th Street. Entrance to a parking garage below the Visitor Center can be found on 6th Street between Arch and Market Sts.

Directions to the Pennsylvania Convention Center

From the east: Take I-676 west over the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and follow signs to Rte.611/PA Convention Center onto Vine Street. Turn left onto 12th Street.*

From the west: Take I-76 east to exit 344 (I-676 east). Follow signs for Central Philadelphia. Take the second exit (Broad Street/Route 611) onto Vine Street. Follow sign for Vine Street/PA Convention Center; at the fourth traffic light, turn right onto 12th Street. *

From the north: Take I-95 south to exit 22 (Central Philadelphia/I-676). Take I-676 west to the first exit (Broad Street). Follow exit ramp onto 15th Street. Turn left at the second traffic light onto Vine Street and stay to the right following signs for Vine Street/PA Convention Center. Turn right onto 12th Street. *

From the south: Take I-95 north to exit 22 (Central Philadelphia/I-676) (left exit). Take I-676 west to the first exit (Broad Street). Follow signs for Vine Street/PA Convention Center. Turn right onto 12th Street. *

*The entrance to the Convention Center is located two blocks ahead at 12th and Arch streets.

Directions: By Train

Amtrak provides extensive service to Philadelphia's 30th Street Station (30th and Market streets). For schedules and fares, contact Amtrak at 800-USA-RAIL or www.amtrak.com.

SEPTA provides connecting Regional Rail service from 30th Street Station to both Suburban and Market East Stations in Center City, free of charge – show your Amtrak Ticket or Ticket Stub to the Conductor. Market East Station connects directly to the PA Convention Center.

Located eight miles from Center City, the Philadelphia International Airport is served by all major domestic carriers, with flights to more than 100 cities in the United States. There are more than 1,000 arrivals and departures daily. The International Terminal is an East Coast gateway for flights to and from Europe, Canada and the Caribbean, with connections to Asia. SEPTA Regional Rail Airport Line connects the airport with Center City. The one-way cash only fare is $7.00. One-way cab fare from the airport to Center City is $29.
