This spring, prepare to be surrounded by the inherent beauty, oddness, and mystery of animals at the Academy of Natural Sciences when Looking at Animals is on exhibit. Black and white images by noted photographer Henry Horenstein will be on display, encouraging visitors to take a closer look at animal features from the snout of a pig, to the feet of a poodle, or even the eye of a Komodo dragon.Animal specimens from the Academy’s world-renowned research collection will be juxtaposed with the photographs and live animal demonstrations will be held, all for a full nature experience.
