WHAT:   Philadelphia Mayor Michael A. Nutter is expected to join Major League Soccer (MLS) Commissioner Don Garber, along with Nick Sakiewicz, CEO and general partner, Philadelphia Union at the Pennsylvania Convention Center during the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) convention to show his support for Philadelphia’s bid to host the 2018 or 2022 FIFA World Cup Soccer™ and the new Philadelphia Union, who begin MLS play this spring.

               On Tuesday, the City of Philadelphia learned it was one of 18 finalist U.S. cities to move on to the next round of the World Cup bid process. FIFA is expected to announce the host countries for both 2018 and 2022 in December 2010.
