PHILADELPHIA…May 23, 2011… A free, downloadable iPad app for the newly enhanced 2011 Spring/Summer Philadelphia Official Visitors Guide, an official publication of the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau (PCVB), is now available. Simply download the app and get on-the-go access to information about Philadelphia’s top attractions and events, as well as hotel, dining, shopping, transportation and entertainment options.This year’s spring/summer guide features both a spring and summer cover, developed based on feedback from visitors and the local concierge community.
Inside the guide and app, visitors will find: “10 Reasons to Love Philadelphia Right Now,” a new special events section, updated neighborhood maps and easier-to-read listings. Also included are great stories on the local dining scene, the arts in Philadelphia and stories on Philadelphia’s unique neighborhoods. Not to be missed are stories on “Famous in the Kitchen,” showcasing Philadelphia’s food royalty, and “Cheesesteak 101,” everything visitors want to know about ordering the City’s most famous food.
