Come and taste your way through the City of Brotherly Love, home to so much more than cheesesteaks!

Half-Day Itinerary:

•    Sign up for a Wok ‘N Walk Tour and get a flavorful look at Philadelphia’s Chinatown. Learn about the vibrant community’s history, culture, and food while celebrity chef Joseph Poon leads an interactive tour. Stops include a fortune cookie factory, Chinese herbal medicine shop, Chinese bakery, live fish market, and an Asian grocery store. Enjoy a four-course lunch followed by a Chinese vegetable carving lesson and more.

•    Head to the 118-year-old Reading Terminal Market for an authentic farmers market bustling with shoppers and diners purchasing Amish specialties, fresh meats, seafood and poultry, as well as hand-made pottery and crafts from around the world.

Make It a Full Day:

•    Visit South Philadelphia’s Italian Market, the oldest and largest working outdoor market in the United States. Be sure to treat your sweet tooth at the famous Termini Brothers Bakery.

•    Indulge in a gourmet Tasting Tour with City Food Tours, which includes an informative and interactive discussion about how fine foods are made and how they have shaped history. Learn the delicious history behind chocolates, loose-leaf teas, gelato and sorbets, breads and pastries, olive oils, farmstead cheeses, wines, micro-brewed beers, and more. 

Make It a Weekend: Day 2

•    Take a tour of one of many Philadelphia area breweries – Flying Fish Brewing Company, Philadelphia Brewing Co., Victory Brewing or Yards Brewing Company. End the day at one of Philadelphia’s many brewpubs (combination brewery-restaurants), such as Dock Street, Iron Hill or Nodding Head.

•    Enjoy dinner at one of Philadelphia’s numerous BYOB restaurants (Bring Your Own Bottle), where you bring the wine and they supply the food!
