National Shrine of Saint Rita of Cascia
- This 14th-century Renaissance-style church, founded by the Augustinian Friars and built by George Lovatt in 1907, is the national center of devotion to St. Rita, known as “The Peacemaker” and “Saint of the Impossible.” The lower shrine contains important relics of Saint Rita, as well as original bronze sculptures by Philadelphia artist Anthony Visco.
