The New Latham Hotel - Philadelphia’s original boutique hotel undergoes a multi-million dollar renovation!

Originally opened in 1915 as a residential property, the Latham Hotel in Center City Philadelphia opened its doors to the public as the area’s landmark boutique hotel in 1970. Over the course of 40 years the property was known amongst adult tour groups, business travelers, and international guests for its mix of exquisite architecture and European-style accommodations.

To stay ahead of the times and on-trend the Latham began extensive renovations early this year, closing its doors for six-months to completely redesign and modernize the property. In that time, major improvements were completed to all 139 guest rooms and the lobby, as well as the addition of one and two-bedroom suites. The hotel has once again opened its doors to welcome your groups with final touches expected to be completed this month.

New for the property is Urban Enoteca, a wine bar and restaurant concentrated on urban elegance. Additional amenities include pet-friendly rooms, car service within the city limits, and complimentary wireless internet. Located in the upscale Rittenhouse Square district, the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Rittenhouse Row shopping, and some of the City’s best dining spots, perfect for making it culture-seeking groups.
