The PCVB has three congresses that assist in the sales and servicing of key markets.
The Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau's congresses have the expertise, the networks and the experience to offer specialized services for specialized groups.
Each congress has an influential board of leaders who stand ready to connect, promote, and enhance your event, meeting, or convention.
A great resource for all planners, the Philadelphia Multicultural Affairs Congress (MAC) works to increase Philadelphia's share of the multicultural meetings and tourism markets. MAC maximizes opportunities for the region by promoting Philadelphia as an ethnically diverse visitor destination, encouraging multicultural business and social responsibility that contributes to and benefits from the varying multicultural communities that enhance our region's hospitality and tourism industry.
MAC assists groups by providing diversity consultation regarding audience development, programming, media and community outreach, and vendor participation.
With the establishment of the Greater Philadelphia Life Sciences Congress, the PCVB brings representatives of the five prongs of the life sciences together: regional health care, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, higher education, and business. These professionals help position the Philadelphia region as the center for life sciences meetings, conventions, and business. They also serve as a local resource by providing access to a Speaker's Bureau of industry experts and by connecting conventions with off-site medical venues and attractions in the region.
Philadelphia Sports Congress
As one of the first sports commissions in the country, the Philadelphia Sports Congress (PSC) has the experience and resources to assist in the planning and execution of your event, meeting, or convention. PSC will work with you to host site visits, act as a hotel liaison, aid in venue selection, advise in event marketing, and provide support for vendor needs. PSC seeks to attract major sporting events and conventions on behalf of the City of Philadelphia.
